SWISS PLAGE is located in an extremely weatherproof area and is the only campsite in Valais with a natural swimming lake (6000 m2). On the spacious, mainly natural terrain for tourists, you can choose between sunny and shady places. Opposite the excellent restaurant, a snack bar offers delicious grilled menus and a variety of pizzas that you can enjoy on the large terrace or take away with you. The well looked after site has well-maintained sanitary facilities, a children's playground and the necessary facilities for table tennis, volleyball, badminton, etc. SWISS PLAGE is an ideal location for excursions to Zermatt (Matterhorn), Saas-Fee or Leukerbad, also easily accessible by public transport, or attractive hiking possibilities in the nearby Pfynwald nature reserve, in the Val d'Anniviers or along the Suolen (irrigation channels) on the right side of the valley. SWISS PLAGE offers both relaxing and eventful camping holidays.
