Camping Arolla

Update (January 2026):

We are pleased to inform you that a temporary camping area will once again be available for the summer of 2026. As a reminder, the Arolla campsite has been permanently closed since 13 July 2025 at its original location (Route de Tsallion 8, 1986 Arolla) due to the risk of natural hazards.

The temporary site is located right next to the Aiguille de la Tza Hotel and Restaurant. It will be open from mid-June to mid-September. We will offer pitches for motorhomes and vans as well as an area for tents. Toilets will be available on site, and showers will be available on request at the hotel. Further information will be published shortly.

There are plans to rebuild a new campsite in Arolla. Planning for a new location is currently underway. (more information at www.camping-arolla.ch).

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that we are closing the campsite this Sunday 13 July. Following the severe storms of June 2024, a new analysis of natural hazards is underway and the authorities have decided that the site is no longer safe for visitors. Your safety is our absolute priority and we respect this decision. This news comes as a real shock, but nature is stronger than we are today.

We are currently in discussions for an alternative site to continue this summer season. We will publish news when we have it.

In the meantime, we hope that you will have wonderful memories of this enchanting place and we sincerely hope that we will soon be able to create new ones together.
